Terms & ConditionsÂ
Verification & Eligibility
- Signed Rental Agreement + valid ID proof required (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport).
- Verification must be completed before dispatch.
- Shipment will proceed only after successful verification.
Payment Terms
- First month fee + refundable security must be paid in advance.
- Subscription auto-renews every 28 days.
- Payment delay beyond 5 days may result in:
- Remote device lock
- Device pickup
- Subscription cancellation
Usage Guidelines
Maintain the device in good physical and working condition.
Not allowed:
- Physical damage (cracks, dents, internal damage, liquid damage)
- Unauthorized repair, servicing, or part replacement
- Any system-level modification, rooting, jailbreak, or unauthorized software tweaks
- Removal or tampering of original device components
Battery/Performance Conditions:
- Normal wear allowed within acceptable limits.
- Device must pass basic functionality and diagnostics checks.
Functionality checks include:
- Display, camera, sensors, speakers, charging port, buttons, and biometric systems working properly.
Returns
Return Process:
• Device must be returned on or before the end of the 6-month period.
• Inspection includes:
• Physical condition
• Battery/health status
• Original parts
• Overall performance
• Refund of security amount will be processed within 5–7 working days after successful inspection.
Damage, Loss, Theft:
• Minor damage: Repair cost deducted from the security amount.
• Major damage or non-original parts: Customer must pay replacement value of the device.
• Loss or theft: Must be reported immediately to iRental and local authorities.
• Customer is liable for full device value in case of loss/theft.
Early Termination:
• Customer may request termination with 7-day notice.
• iRental may terminate subscription in case of:
• Non-payment
• Misuse
• Violation of terms
• Device must be returned within 48 hours after termination notice.
Data Privacy
• Devices are factory reset before delivery and after return.
• iRental is not responsible for loss of personal data.
• Customer must back up data and remove all accounts before returning the device.
